Our Recording Hardware

We here at VGSoundtrackGuy Music take our sound quality very seriously.        Therefore, we always try and use a high sample rate and bit depth when sampling our sounds.

Our sole audio interface we sample with is the Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6.

While it is not considered a "top-of-the-line" audio interface by most, everyone will agree that high-fidelity sound is important. And the Komplete Audio 6 delivers just that.

What We Think of the Komplete Audio 6

We took a gamble with the Komplete Audio 6 as this is Native Instruments first ever audio interface. Native Instruments is known for their incredible music software and as of late, their MIDI controllers, but never a pure audio interface. And any professional musician, producer and audio engineer will encourage you to use industry standard gear and to stay away from unknown brands and products with few reviews.

However, for what the Komplete Audio 6 claimed to offer, at an affordable price of $229, we had to try our luck. And we were not disappointed!

The Komplete Audio 6 is a 6-channel USB 2.0 Audio/MIDI interface.

It boasts four analog ins/outs, digital in/out and MIDI In & Out. The two mic inputs on the front are armed with high-end pre-amps. This interface also houses industry standard 24-bit / 96kHz Cirrus Logic AD/DA converters. Which are usually only found on high end audio interfaces such as the Apogee Duet 2.

While the tech specs are amazing, the resulting sound is what truly matters. And we can say that the Komplete Audio 6 definitely delivers premium sound quality at an affordable cost! We highly recommend this audio interface for any musician/producer on a budget!

This small but powerful interface is responsible for the high-fidelity sound heard in our flagship Kontakt 5 library: VGSG's Gospel Essentials.
